1. About AutomataSECURE & Scope

AutomataSECURE LLC (“AutomataSECURE,” “we,” “our,” “us”) is a U.S.–based cyber-security and compliance-automation company. This notice explains how we handle any personal data we collect when you visit our websites, interact with us, or use our products and services. Depending on the system involved, AutomataSECURE LLC or one of its affiliates is the data controller responsible for that processing.

Restriction / Objection – limit or object to certain processing.

3. How We Collect Information

We obtain personal data in four main ways:

  1. You give it to us – e.g., contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, webinar registrations, job applications. 

  2. We record it automatically – cookies, device data, IP address, and analytics information when you browse our sites. 

  3. We generate it while providing services – project files, audit records, support tickets.

  4. We receive it from public or third-party sources – social-media interactions, business partners, or public records.

We do not knowingly collect information about children under 16 (see Section 14).

We process the information above in order to:

  • Deliver & improve our products and services

  • Communicate about new features, events, or offers

  • Personalise website content and advertising

  • Secure our infrastructure, perform analytics, and troubleshoot issues

  • Comply with contracts and legal obligations

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use first- and third-party cookies plus similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site, measure campaign effectiveness, and improve the user experience. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

8. Who Sees Your Data

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  1. With service providers under contract who perform work on our behalf and must keep the data confidential.

  2. When required by law (e.g., subpoenas, lawful government requests).

  3. With your consent – for example, if you ask us to introduce you to a partner firm. 

9. International Transfers

We host all our systems in the United States. If needed, we rely on approved mechanisms—such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework—to safeguard cross-border transfers.

10. Security Measures

Personal data is stored on systems protected by industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, secure facilities, etc.). 

11. Retention & Deletion

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. When retention is no longer justified, we securely delete or de-identify the information

12. California Privacy Notice (CCPA / CPRA)

If you reside in California you may, subject to verification, request:

  • Access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold.

  • Correction of inaccurate data.

  • Deletion of data, with statutory exceptions.

Opt-out of certain “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising (we do not sell data for money).

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

13. EEA & UK Data Subject Rights

Individuals in the EEA/UK enjoy additional rights under GDPR, including data portability and restriction/objection to processing. Requests may be sent to support@automatasecure.com. We respond in accordance with EU/UK law.

14.Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have collected such information, it will be deleted promptly. 

15. Opt-Out & Marketing Controls

Every marketing e-mail we send contains an unsubscribe link. You may also e-mail us at support@automatasecure.com to be removed from future marketing communications

16. Resolving Concerns & Disputes

We investigate all complaints and will work quickly to resolve them. If you are in the EEA/UK and remain unsatisfied, you may contact your local Data Protection Authority. For unresolved cross-border disputes we cooperate with the ICDR-AAA arbitration service at no cost to you.

17. Appeals & Complaints (Clients)

Clients may appeal project findings or file complaints by writing to support@automatasecure.com and providing organisation name, contract number, contact details, and a description of the issue. We aim to reply within 30 days.

18. Changes to this Notice

We review this Privacy Notice at least annually. When we post updates, the “Last Updated” date will change; continued use of our services after that date means you accept the revisions.
